اندرکنش خاک و سازه از چالش‌های بسیار مهم در طراحی سازه‌ها است که می‌تواند پاسخ لرزه‌ای سازه‌ها را به طور قابل توجهی تغییر دهد. در هنگام وقوع زلزله رفتار خاکِ زیر سازه نقش مهمی در پاسخ سازه ایفا می‌کند و مشخصات دینامیکی سازه را تحت تأثیر قرار می‌دهد. بنابراین در سازه‌های ویژه نیاز به مدل‌سازی دقیق‌تر محیط خاک است. در کاربردهای مهندسی غالباً خاک زیر سازه مدل نمی‌شود و از تأثیرات مهم آن صرف نظر می‌گردد، زیرا بـه علت نامحدود بودن محیط خاک، مدل‌سازی آن پیچیدگی بیش‌تری نسبت به مدل‌سازی سازه دارد. روش‌های مختلفی برای مدل‌سازی پدیده‌ی اندرکنش خاک - سازه وجود دارند. یکی از این روش‌ها روش معروف تیر بر روی بستر الاستیک است. این روش براساس مدل وینکلر بنا شده است که در طرح آیین‌نامه‌ای به طور گسترده استفاده میشود ولی به طور دقیق تغییرات سختی خاک در طول پی را نشان نمی‌دهد. بنابراین در مقاله‌ی حاضر به بررسی عکس‌العمل خاک زیر پی پرداخته میشود و در نهایت مدل مناسب و ساده‌شده‌ای جهت مدل‌سازی اندرکنش خاک - سازه در کاربردهای مهندسی ارائه میشود. برای رسیدن به این هدف چند سازه به صورت سه بعدی در محیط OpenSees مدل شدند. سپس از خروجی عکس‌العمل محیط خاک و فونداسیون سازه برای تخمین سختی محیط خاک و فونداسیونن و استخراج روابط مهندسی ساده‌شده استفاده شده است.

This paper presents an exact formula for considering soil stiffness under the foundation. This formula derived from a 3D modeling of eight strip footings with different foundation widths supported on a soil medium. In the case of an earthquake, the behavior of the substructure soil plays an important role in the response of the structure. Studies show that the dynamic response spectrum of a structure on a flexible foundation is different from the response spectrum of a structure on a rigid foundation. These models use a constant value for modeling the soil stiffness. However, the soil stiffness varies along the foundation and should be calculated by analytical studies. This paper provides a simple formula which shows a non-uniform soil stiffness under the strip foundation and can be used for practical purposes.
