In today's world, we are witnessing the launch, maintenance, control and exploitation of various projects. Projects that have high costs and optimal use of this capital in the current economy of the country are highly regarded by managers. On the other hand, each project is expected to achieve its predetermined goals at a specified time. Today, the necessity of rapid construction of subway lines in Tehran's metropolitan area, which is involved in severe traffic jams, is not covered by anyone. Despite the understanding of this issue by the authorities and the good actions taken so far in this direction. However, more effort and a greater determination to reach the acceptable speed in the construction and completion of metro lines is necessary. Quick implementation of projects is based on the principles of concurrent engineering, called fast tracking, in construction projects. In the fast delivery method, solutions such as resource enhancement, synchronous engineering, overlapping phases, value engineering, teamwork by the multi-functional team, improving communication and information transfer, and accelerating decision making, using efficient contractual methods (transferring risks as Effective way, which by using the correct methods, accelerates the implementation of the project. Therefore, in this article, management strategies for implementing fast tracking projects in the development projects of the country have been investigated.

The first studies to choose contractors in EPC contracts are back in the years ahead. Studies have shown that the existence of a contractor in EPC contracts is considered to be important for contractors and reduces risk, cost, and overall improvement of project objectives. General contractors have limited workload in specialized disciplines and it is inefficient to take full-time specialized labor force and carry out the operation, maintenance and control of specialized machinery with a high cost for them. As a result, contractors in EPC contracts that specialize in one or more specific fields of activity will be able to perform specialized work at a lower cost and higher quality. This research, using two qualitative and quantitative approaches, identifies and prioritizes selection criteria for contractors, which was done through interviewing AHP and topsis methodology. The results indicated that 12 factors such as executive, financial and engineering teams are involved in contractor selection in EPC contracts.

Transportation and transportation of goods and passengers in each country is one of the key components of its socio-economic development, and it accounts for a large part of the national budget. Due to the high speed of air transportation in the movement of goods and passengers and its impact on economic development, it has been very important in planning the transportation of the country and has always been of great importance. In this regard, the construction of the airport as a place for the maintenance, assembly and take-off of various types of passenger, military and commercial aircraft is inevitable, and ground facilities are an integral part of the airports, the most important of which is the pavement system. Considering the importance of airports and maintenance of flight levels, this study identifies and prioritizes the effective factors in this regard, which uses a qualitative and quantitative Hierarchical AHP methodology. The results of this study include the number of flights, the implementation of rubber de-mining operations, the type of aircraft, the alternative runway and the history of repairs.

In this research, it was tried to use the experience of building construction and activity in housing projects to identify the reasons for the discrepancy between employers and contractors in Mehr Housing Segment. To collect data, library study method and questionnaire distribution were used among contractors, employers and engineers involved in Mehr Housing Projects. This research is a summary of a dissertation under this title, which was conducted using descriptive survey method. From the findings of this research, it is possible to identify the important reasons for the disagreement and the roots of the lawsuits between employers and contractors in Mehr Housing. The purpose of collecting this information has ultimately been to assist contractors and employers in all disciplines in order to minimize financial damages and consequently increase the quality and efficiency of the specialized forces.

It is realized that the economy of many littoral countries, including Iran, is dependent on the marine developments; therefore, the construction of port structures as the point of berthing, mooring, and repair of marine vessels has boomed in recent years. Hence, there has been significant research on the design of port and harbor structures, which leads to the development of performance-based design method as a highly reliable way for seismic design of these structures. Seismic actions may cause uncontrolled damages to wharves and piers, resulting in huge economic losses to the country. Iran is also one of the most seismically active zones and contrary to the seismic design of waterfront structures which still leaves much to the designer’s judgment, there are several published codes for performance-based design of building structures. So in this paper, the state-of-the-art ASCE/COPRI 61-14 code requirements on seismic design of wharves and piers has been studied along with the performance-based design method.
