This article examines the pervasive issue of flight delays in Iranian airports and the factors affecting it. As air travel continues to play an important role in global connectivity and economic growth, understanding the causes and consequences of flight delays becomes critical. The importance of speed as the main indicator in the aviation industry compared to other means of transportation caused the issue of flight delays to be looked at more sensitively. Also, one of the influential factors for the performance of airline companies and the level of passenger satisfaction is the issue of flight delays and cancellations by the company. Using a comprehensive data set and statistical analyses, we examine the percentage of delayed flights in Iran's main airports and clarify the underlying factors affecting these delays. Then, using the defined index, we compare the performance of the most important Iranian airlines in terms of flight delays and cancellations in recent years using available data. As a result of these calculations, all domestic airlines in Iran, like other countries in the world, experience the most delays in the winter season. According to the evidence, this issue is predictable to a good extent and more efforts should be made in this field so that there is less impact on the economy of the country and the comfort of passengers during the trip

Every year, a significant number of our compatriots in Iran are killed or injured in road accidents, resulting in heavy damages to society and the country. With population growth and road traffic, the financial costs of accidents are imposed on families and the government, in addition to the irreparable psychological and social damages. Human factors, vehicles, roads, and natural elements are the main contributors to unsafe traffic conditions. The traffic safety index serves as a suitable measure for evaluating the safety level of countries. The objective of this research is to compare Iran's traffic safety index with that of Central and East Asian countries. When comparing Iran with East Asian countries, it should be noted that each country has its unique characteristics and approaches to road safety. East Asian countries such as South Korea, Japan, China, and Singapore have implemented various measures to address road safety issues, including infrastructure improvement, stricter regulations, advanced technologies, and public awareness campaigns. As a result, these countries have experienced varying degrees of success in reducing road accidents and casualties. Based on index calculations, Iran has unfavorable and concerning conditions compared to most Central and East Asian countries, and therefore, more attention and effort are needed to improve road safety and reduce the number of accidents.

Traffic accidents are a global health challenge that kills millions of people annually. Assessing the trend of mortality from traffic accidents is an important step in identifying effective factors in traffic accidents and understanding the effectiveness of targeted interventions and measures to reduce deaths. The aim of study was to conduct investigating the trend of mortality from traffic accidents in Iran for the period 2018-2021. In this study, the trend of fatalities in different provinces of Iran compared using the factors of length of road and accident rate in the province. Data collected from the Forensic Medicine Organization and Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization websites. This data analyzed using descriptive statistical methods in Microsoft SQL Server 2020 and Microsoft Power BI 2023. During the studied period, 66,303 people died in traffic accidents in Iran. The results show that the ranking of provinces in terms of the fatal traffic accidents based on number of accidents and road length is such that the provinces of Alborz, Bushehr and Qom have the greatest amount of index value that indicating a higher risk of accidents in these provinces. This report provides valuable insights for policy makers and health system management in developing effective strategies to reduce mortality caused by traffic accidents.

Over the past 10 years, the performance of airlines in the passenger domain has been influenced by various factors. Consequently, numerous studies have been conducted worldwide on the factors affecting the performance of airlines in passenger services, and Iran has also seen significant statistical studies in this regard. In this research, an attempt has been made to conduct a comparative analysis of the years 2012 to 2022 for Iranian airlines in the passenger domain, using defined statistical indices. The defined indices in this study include passenger density on each flight, the percentage of delayed flights, the percentage of canceled flights, and the number of flights passing through the country's airspace. It was observed that Iran had acceptable performance in three indices until the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, after the pandemic, due to lack of planning and readiness for unforeseen events like COVID-19, the airline performance has been severely impacted. Hence, airlines need effective planning and strategies to prevent the adverse effects of unforeseen events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Overall, the developments of this decade highlight the need for flexibility and the ability to respond to challenges in the aviation and air transportation industry
