Abstract

The construction industry is known as one of the most dangerous industries in terms of work-related losses, injury rates, and workers' compensation. Safety in construction is one of the most important issues due to the large number of accidents and deaths in this industry. The issue of safety has always been of great interest to researchers due to the history of accidents in the construction industry and many studies have been conducted in various fields related to safety. The purpose of this study is to identify and rank the components of safety management in construction projects. The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of the nature of the method. In order to collect data, questionnaires were prepared and multi-criteria decision making methods (test and evaluation decision making method and network analysis method) were used Completed by ten safety experts with at least five years of experience in construction projects in the city of Shiraz. The collected data were analyzed by Excel and SuperDeicisions software. The results showed that the components of the presence of supervisors and trained engineers in the field of safety, training of personnel and personal protective equipment, have the most weight.
