The main objective of this article is to examine the impact of the average age of intercity bus fleets on the number of passengers and road fatalities. To this end, data from the Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization of Iran and the Forensic Medicine Organization of Iran between the years 2018-2022 have been used. Transportation is one of the most important sectors in every country, and a considerable volume of transportation in our country takes place through roads. More than 80% of intercity travelers in the country are transported by intercity buses. Therefore, studying the factors affecting the quantity and quality of bus fleets is of particular importance.Unfortunately, in our country, due to various reasons such as sanctions, inflation, economic difficulties, lack of attracting investors, lack of attention by officials to planning and development, etc., the number of active buses has decreased and the average age of fleets has increased. In this research, data definition, study, and comparison have been used considering the subject of the research. The results show that with the increase in the average age of fleets, the average number of passengers has even decreased after the lifting of the COVID-19 restrictions and had a downward trend. Moreover, the risks and accidents of intercity travel and the increase in fatalities have increased with the aging of the fleets, and the shortage of bus tickets has become one of the problems, especially on special occasions. Proposed solutions to address this issue and reduce the average age of fleets, in the current conditions of the country, require more investment and attention, liberalization and assistance in importing new buses, and long-term support to domestic bus manufacturers to increase the quality and quantity of buses.

Concrete is one of the most widely used materials in construction, and the reason for that is its hardness, durability and high resistance. Pores are usually filled with fluid. So far, nanostructures with regular and irregular shapes have been made from different materials, which in total form one of the most diverse categories of materials. In this regard, 30 samples were made and tested for compressive strength testing and 30 samples for tensile testing. The amount of nanosilica and nanoclay in three different ratios of 0.25, 0.50, and 0.75 of cement weight has been added to the concrete mixture. The obtained results show an increase in the compressive and tensile strength of concrete due to the addition of nanosilica and nanoclay

The purpose of this research is to predict the environmental effects of the water transmission line project on the environment. The research method is descriptive and analytical using existing resources. Investigations showed that in the design of the water transmission line, the implementation of environmental considerations can play an effective role in controlling and reducing the harmful effects of the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly implement measures and solutions to reduce environmental effects in water transfer areas. This is suggested by carrying out preferential environmental impact assessment studies for the superior option from the technical, economic, social and environmental point of view. On the other hand, one of the success factors in the sustainability of development plans is the degree of acceptance of these plans by the people and local communities and their participation in the implementation and exploitation of the plan. Since the project of transferring water from the Persian Gulf is carried out with the main goal of supplying water to industries in the southeast of the country, it seems that in the short term it is not possible to supply drinking water to the residential areas within the scope of the project. However, if local labor force is used in the implementation and exploitation phase and the project is welcomed by the human communities related to the project, this project can have positive effects on the social, economic and cultural environment of the project.

Recognizing traffic signs is very important in the field of intelligent transportation systems, because it effectively increases the safety of our roads. By equipping drivers with vital information about potential hazards, this technology significantly reduces response time and helps making quick decisions while operating the vehicle. Due to the exponential growth of our population, unfortunately the increase in the number of vehicles has led to a painful increase in traffic fatalities and injuries. Although the expansion of the transportation network helps the traffic issue, this expansion may be inapplicable due to the High financial costs, geographic and environmental limitations, as well as a long period of time to improve transportation infrastructure. Quality control of traffic colors, shabrangs, glass beads and other traffic signs in accordance with national and international standards will significantly reduce the number of dead and injured. Managing a smart city with emphasis on waste reduction and efficient use of resources is the main responsibility of traffic and transportation activities. The use of complex processing techniques in cars to increase safety without interfering with driving has been proposed as part of the concept of a smart city. This study looks at a new approach that can help create a framework for placing street signs using Google images into a traffic management program. The findings show a reduction in travel time, an increase in the use of the fleet, better maintenance of vehicles, and a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions from passenger cars.
