Civil & Project Journal (CPJ) , owned and edited by Dr. Ali Ghorbani, founder of the Project Management Engineering discipline in Iran , is published with a scientific, interdisciplinary, and problem-oriented approach in civil engineering, construction management, project management, engineering law, safety, and civil infrastructure projects. Since June 2019, the journal has operated with a monthly publication frequency in electronic format, providing a platform for disseminating research findings and transferring scientific, managerial, executive, and professional experience.
The journal’s scholarly identity is founded on the connection between academic knowledge and real-world project experience . Accordingly, in addition to original academic research, the journal welcomes case studies, documented executive and managerial experience, legal and contractual analyses, and applied research conducted within a clear scientific framework. The Editorial Board believes that useful knowledge should contribute to a better understanding or resolution of real-world problems.

Article Processing and Publication Charge
Charged Only after Final Scientific Acceptance
Submission, initial assessment, and scientific peer review at Civil & Project Journal are free of charge, and no payment is required before final scientific acceptance. The highest article processing and publication charge for each accepted article is IRR 28,000,000 . For international payments, 50 TRX is accepted as an alternative payment option. These two amounts are alternative payment options for the same article and are not cumulative. The charge applies exclusively to post-acceptance publication services, including final quality control, technical editing, layout, DOI assignment, and electronic publication. Payment has no effect on reviewer selection, the peer-review process or outcome, or the Editor-in-Chief’s scientific decision.

Publication Ethics, Research Integrity, and Open Access
- The journal follows the principles and guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Iran’s Act on the Prevention and Combating of Fraud in Scientific Works enacted in 2017, and its implementing regulation adopted in 2019.
- Articles published in the journal are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) .
- Authors must provide a similarity-checking report in accordance with journal requirements, and the journal uses recognized systems for evaluating Persian and English manuscripts.
- Simultaneous submission, duplicate publication, data manipulation, plagiarism, and the inclusion of individuals who did not make a genuine contribution are prohibited.
Important Requirements for Authors
- The manuscript must be based on the author’s or authors’ research or documented professional experience and must not have been published previously or submitted simultaneously to another journal.
- All manuscripts must be submitted and tracked exclusively through the journal system. Submission by personal email or telephone contact does not replace registration in the journal system.
- Author names, author order, corresponding-author designation, and institutional affiliations must be fully consistent between the journal-system record and the manuscript file.
- After publication, requests to change authorship information are considered only in accordance with the journal’s formal post-publication correction procedures.
- Funding or institutional support, competing interests, and the contribution of each author must be disclosed transparently.
- Authors’ ORCID iDs must be entered, in accordance with the Guide for Authors, in the journal-system profile and article information.
Backup, Preservation, and Information Continuity
Article files and backup copies of author information are periodically maintained in backup storage, and metadata for published articles are registered through mEDRA for DOI assignment. The journal regards the continuing development of mechanisms for content protection and long-term preservation of scholarly content as part of its publishing-infrastructure improvement programme.

Academics, researchers, postgraduate students, project managers, engineers, and experienced professionals are invited to submit their scholarly findings and documented experience for consideration in forthcoming issues, after carefully reviewing the Guide for Authors.
The views expressed in published articles do not necessarily represent the views of the journal. The author or authors are responsible for the accuracy of the methods, data, analyses, references, claims, institutional affiliations, and scholarly content of each article. The journal may perform necessary technical and language editing while preserving the scholarly meaning of the work and within the final-approval process.
