Civil & Project Journal

An ISC-Accredited Monthly Scientific and Professional Journal

Civil & Project Journal (CPJ), owned and edited by Dr. Ali Ghorbani, founder of the Project Management Engineering discipline in Iran, is a scientific, interdisciplinary, and problem-oriented journal covering civil engineering, construction management, project management, engineering law, safety, and civil infrastructure projects. Published continuously on a monthly basis since June 2019, CPJ provides a platform for disseminating research findings and transferring scientific, managerial, executive, and professional knowledge.

The journal’s scholarly identity is built on connecting academic knowledge with the realities of projects. In addition to original academic research, CPJ welcomes well-documented case studies, evidence-based professional experience, legal and contractual analyses, and applied studies developed within a clear scientific framework. The Editorial Board believes that useful knowledge should help explain or solve a real-world problem more effectively.

Journal Position and Mission

As a Persian-language scientific and professional monthly in civil engineering, project management, and construction management, CPJ seeks to serve as a credible venue for high-quality research and knowledge exchange among academia, industry, and professional practice.

Its audience includes academics, researchers, postgraduate students, project managers, consulting engineers, contractors, official experts, specialists in engineering law and safety, and professionals involved in architectural and construction implementation.

Strategic principle: scientific credibility, process agility, professional responsiveness, and the precedence of research quality and originality over all other considerations.

Useful Knowledge and Applied Research

CPJ goes beyond the production of academic text. It welcomes studies that can improve decision-making, design, execution, control, safety, economics, contracts, and the resolution of real project problems.

Connecting Experience with Research

Manuscripts from experienced practitioners, including authors outside academia, are welcome when they are supported by evidence, a transparent method, a scientific structure, and an assessable analysis that transforms engineering experience into transferable knowledge.
