Abstract
According to the latest occupational injury census, more than a quarter of workplace casualties occur in the construction industry as a whole. UAVs, smart sensors, virtual reality and wearable devices are technologies used to secure work in progress in construction projects. Less damage to the site indicates that employees can spend more time working and improving productivity. It is hoped that in the new editions of Article 12 of the National Building Code, it may be possible to add a few instances of the use of new technologies to better and more accurately secure the work site.
