Abstract
Construction cost management in construction projects is one of the most important management factors. Weak management can lead to detrimental costs to the project and its employers. In 5D BIM technology, by combining project cost information with a three-dimensional model based on BIM (Building Information Modeling), a more effective and accurate assessment of project costs over its lifetime can be achieved. But applying this method can bring many opportunities and challenges for project managers. This study will review the efficiency of this system in comparison with construction project management and control systems by reviewing the presented articles.
