Traffic accidents are the second leading cause of death worldwide. In Iran, we are facing such a catastrophic issue. The purpose of this study is to investigate the human factors leading to urban traffic accidents. This research has been done using descriptive-analytical method. Findings from the research show that among all the human factors that lead to an accident, the cause of haste and urgency, non-observance of the right of way and non-observance of longitudinal and transverse distance, high speed, haste and non-observance of traffic rules and Driving, not paying attention to the front, and speeding are the most common causes of accidents.
