Abstract
With the increase in the human population, one of their basic needs is the need for housing and amenities. In order to meet any need, shelter and a place for them is needed, so the building and structure and their constituent materials are of great importance. One of the most used materials in construction is concrete, which destroys a lot of resources and the environment every year.
On the other hand, the problem of waste disposal is one of the concerns of human societies. This problem is becoming more important every day, because with the increase in population, the amount of waste produced increases, and to dispose of them, more occupation is required, and to burn them, we also need to consume energy, so recycling materials as much as possible is one of the best solutions. It is for disposal of waste and its circulation to the industry. Due to the increase in the number of cars, waste tires are one of the important wastes. Therefore, its reuse has been noticed by the society due to its large amount. Finally, if rubber can be used in concrete and the construction industry, its waste production will be reduced, the damage to the environment will be reduced, and the resources will be extracted less. .
In this research, rubber powder with dimensions of less than 1 mm and crumb rubber with dimensions of 3 to 5 mm were used. The results indicate that in the tensile strength test at the age of 28 days, the sample with 10% micro silica increased the strength by 25.35% and the sample with 10 % rubber powder 6.78% increase in strength and the sample with 10% rubber crumb 6.07% decrease in strength and in the sample containing powder and rubber crumb 17.85% there was a decrease in tensile strength compared to the control sample.
