Abstract
Lean Construction, as a novel approach in the construction industry, emphasizes improving productivity, reducing waste, and increasing project quality. This research aims to identify and prioritize the factors influencing the use of lean construction techniques in the construction industry. For this purpose, the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method was employed, and the factors were examined across five main categories: managerial, organizational, economic, technical, and socio-cultural. The results indicated that economic factors, such as improved productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction, alongside technical factors, including more precise quality control and the adoption of new technologies, have the most significant impact on the acceptance and implementation of these techniques. Furthermore, the study confirmed the critical role of employee training and skill development, as well as top management commitment, in the successful implementation of this approach. Based on the findings, recommendations were provided to enhance the application of lean construction, including focusing on continuous training, leveraging advanced technologies, optimizing the supply chain, and securing governmental support. This research can assist project managers and decision-makers in the construction industry in better planning and execution of lean techniques and contribute to sustainable development in this sector.
