Abstract
Abstract

In the principles of urban management, construction violations are like a disease in the body and soul of the city. Therefore, its factors and causes must be identified, and without identifying them, no prescription for treating the disease will be logical and effective. Among the constructions that have been carried out in the city, there are cases that have been built illegally and unprincipled, contrary to the regulations of the engineering system and urban planning laws. In this regard, the Article 100 Commission of the Municipal Law is a special and quasi-judicial institution. It was formed along with other municipal commissions to have adequate supervision over constructions. (Hashemi and Malikan, 2025) In this study, an attempt has been made to examine the role of the votes of the Article 100 Commission of Chabahar Municipality in controlling and preventing unauthorized and unlicensed constructions. The results of the study, examining construction violations over a five-year period (2020-2024), showed that 433 cases were filed with the Municipality's Article 100 Commission. Also, in 2022, the most construction violations occurred in Chabahar city, and since then there has been a decreasing trend
