Abstract
Green schools and educational centers, as one of the new approaches in educational architecture, are designed with the aim of improving the quality of learning, improving the mental and physical health of students, teachers and all relevant officials, and reducing its environmental impacts. In the meantime, the use of natural elements such as green walls, flexible walls, and innovations such as green movable walls have become important as key components in optimizing educational spaces. The present study, with a descriptive-analytical approach and the use of a questionnaire, examines the effect of these elements on the level of student learning and the improvement of the teacher training process using a statistical population of 400 students and teachers in Isfahan province. The criteria for assessing the claim that the use of green walls improves the visual quality of the school environment, increases concentration, reduces stress, improves social interaction, and increases academic motivation. The results show that by using green walls, students' concentration levels increase by 42 percent, academic motivation increases by 44 percent, social interaction between students and teachers increases by 42 percent, and student stress levels decrease by 49 percent. In addition, teachers working in schools with green walls reported an increase in satisfaction with teaching and communication with students by 42 percent. The findings indicate that combining sustainable architecture principles and flexible design in the form of green schools can be considered as a global model for improving educational and training processes.
