Current global tendering processes are centralized and rely on third-party intervention. In such systems, information security concerns and human interference are major challenges that diminish trust in the tendering process. Given the advancements in blockchain technology and smart contracts, their application in construction tendering has gained significant attention due to their potential to ensure reliability and transparency. Modern decentralized systems, built upon smart contracts, provide participants with full transparency and traceability of all operations, without the need for human intervention. Furthermore, smart contracts facilitate the secure storage of information, the enforcement of tendering constraints, and the automated evaluation of participants.
