With the increasing population of urbanization and the use of private transportation, the depreciation of public transportation in Iran's metropolises and issues such as environmental, traffic, visual and air pollution, urban management policies in this direction Appropriate solutions such as sustainable urban development should be adopted. This article intends to show by introducing practical strategies at the level of metropolitan management To achieve sustainable urban development, the component of sustainable transport development must first be taken seriously. Sustainable transport is a set of integrated, dynamic, continuous policies and guidelines that include economic, social, and environmental goals that ensure the equitable distribution and efficient use of resources to meet the transportation needs of society and future generations. Brings with it. The method of collecting information and data is library and case study. The purpose of this article is to address the important components of transportation network planning and the dimensions of sustainability in urban transportation networks, the process of determining the policies of senior managers in order to achieve the development of urban sustainability through sustainable development. Transportation is achieved through strategic management and the use of the swot model.

The use of new asphalts with the aim of increasing the life of the pavement and reducing the maintenance costs of the pavement is of great importance. Continuous investigation and evaluation of the causes of failure is a necessary thing that failure to pay attention to it will intensify the failure and transfer it to the underlying layers, which will lead to complete failure of the pavement and impose very high costs. Timely use of protective asphalt can improve the service level of pavement and increase its life, also increase wear and improve existing asphalt and concrete procedures and be used to make the road surface impermeable. Protective asphalt is usually used as a temporary coating in the road construction industry and is not one of the main components of the road body. This layer is mostly used to make the asphalt impermeable and to prevent erosion of the main layer. Using it can strengthen the main layer of asphalt which is on the road. Due to the types of protective asphalts, each of which has its own application and characteristics, they are spread on the road surface. These asphalts include chip seal, fog seal, seal coat, slur seal and micro-surfacing. Studies on fog seal protective asphalt have been collected and reviewed in recent years. The results show that the use of sand seal grout with epoxy emulsion shows resistance to skid and frustration, which its use for sealing and prevention at the pavement surface increases the resistance to skid. Fog seal can be effective in minimizing water absorption and air permeability, and such findings suggest that sealants using biomaterials can be a viable alternative to asphalt pavements. Adding oil (environmental-oil) reduces the need for asphalt adhesion and leads to energy savings. In general, the use of fog seal protects the pavement against cracking and erosion of asphalt, increasing the length of the pavement, delaying major repairs, reducing permeability due to sealing and damage due to moisture

In the last two decades, the increase in quality and strength in new concrete technology has grown significantly. One of the new generation concretes that is considered as a powerful and efficient concrete in the construction industry today is fiber concrete, which has improved mechanical properties such as higher tensile strength and even improved compressive strength. This concrete, which has a compressive strength in a range of 15 to 200 MPa, is mainly used in the construction of structures resistant to dynamic loads and thin walls, and its use in new construction projects has a high potential. In the present study, the role of human hair as fibers in reinforcing concrete and the characteristics of hardened concrete have been investigated and its details have been studied from the point of view of mechanical characteristics. For this purpose, 6 types of mixing schemes with different percentages of crushed hair (0-1-2-3-4 and 5% by volume) were considered and the desired mixtures were reached and molded with the help of lubricant. Tests of compressive strength, tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, and water absorption were performed to evaluate the mechanical and physical properties of concrete. The results of compressive strength of the samples showed that 2% of the consumed hair caused a 9.8% increase in compressive strength compared to the control design. Tensile strength also increased by 34.3% in the same percentage of consumption compared to the control design. The modulus of elasticity increased by 8.65% in 1% of hair consumed and then decreased. Water absorption had an increasing trend and in 2% consumption, showed a 24.2% increase compared to the control.

Recently, with the advent of nanotechnology and the manufacture of nanoparticles, a huge change has taken place in the functional demands of materials. The role of the pavement surface layer, which is made of asphalt mixtures, in the performance of pavements is inevitable. The use of nanotechnology in the construction of transportation infrastructure is roughly equivalent to the human effort to send humans to the moon in the 1960s. In 2005, the idea of building asphalt for highways that could repair themselves seemed far-fetched to many. Therefore, the asphalt industry still needs a transformation so that people can see the possibilities of nanotechnology and understand its benefits. Due to the compositional nature of the asphalt mix, the potential for improvement in the mechanical properties of asphalt using nanotechnology is very important. Modification of nanomaterials began with engineering changes in the molecular structure of asphalt with the aim of influencing the properties of these materials. Nanoscale modifiers can react with bitumen to change the chemical and molecular structure of the bitumen, which can lead to better asphalt performance. In recent years, the use of nanoparticles in changing the behavioral and chemical properties of asphalt has been considered by researchers and researchers have conducted numerous experiments to study these properties in order to improve the properties of asphalt mixtures made with nanoparticles, but this science still needs To more extensive research in order to achieve more comprehensive and accurate results. This paper reviews the studies on the effect of different nanoparticles on the production of cold asphalt in factories produced with emulsion bitumen.

In recent years, polymer-modified bitumens have been used to produce asphalt mixtures with better corrosion resistance, fatigue cracks and heat cracks. Research in recent decades has shown that the use of polymers in asphalt mixtures improves their properties and delays breakdowns. The important role of pavement quality on the safety and comfort of road users, as well as reducing the costs of the operation period, has led researchers in the field of asphalt pavement to produce modified asphalt, to increase its strength and durability in Take action against traffic loads and various weather conditions. Deficiencies related to pure bitumen produced in refineries lead to premature failures in asphalt pavements. Various additives have been used to modify the behavior of bitumen, including a variety of polymers. In fact, polymers are among the bitumen modifying additives that are widely used in asphalt mixtures today. In this study, reviewing previous research, the need to modify the properties of bitumen will be explained. In the following, various methods of bitumen properties modification are introduced and then the types of bitumen polymer modifiers and the role of each of them in improving the properties of bitumen and asphalt mixtures will be explained.

Solid waste is one of the problems of urban management. Total solid municipal waste on the Earth in the last year was 1.3 billion tones, increasing every year. Waste management and the strategy of its application is one of the major concerns in most countries. Landfill and waste incineration are two essential solutions for solid waste disposal in the world. Lack of proper land, high cost, multiple strict rules, public opposition to the construction of landfills and environmental pollution are the factors make researchers prefer waste incineration instead of land fill. Municipal solid waste incineration is one of the most environmentally friendly practices can significantly reduce the volume of household waste by up to 90% so it plays an important role in the environment. The products of this method are fly ash and bottom ash of incinerated wastes in incineration plants. In early 1970s reports on the use of municipal solid waste ash in asphalt was issued. In 1980s a number of asphalt centered projects included municipal solid waste ash was done. The purpose of this study is to optimize the use of municipal solid waste ash and prevent environmental damage and expand landfills. In this study, the possibility of using fly ash as an admixture for asphalt bitumen and pavement substrates was investigated and the results showed that it is possible to use fly ash and incinerated bottom ash as substituted materials such as filler or fine particles for asphalt aggregation and has a great impact on improving the physical and chemical properties of asphalt and will also be effective in solving landfill problems.
