One of the most common parts of steel bending frame structures, which is damaged by seismic load, is beam joints to the column, and joint failure can cause the structure to collapse. One way to improve the seismic performance of steel bending joints is to use bending joints with tapered beam flange (TBF). In this joint, with reducing part of the beam flange width along the seismic anchor slope, the bending joint ductile behavior is increased and the critical stress area is transferred from the beam-to-column joint to the beam flange width reduction location. In this article, the results of laboratory studies conducted by Chen et al. are the basis for the validation of the finite element model, and the most important parameters affecting the seismic performance of this type of joint, including the reinforcement ratio the length of the beam flange width reduction area and the cross section of the main beam have been investigated using the finite element method. The results of the analysis of nonlinear finite element models in ABAQUS software showed that the TBF joint caused the expansion of stress and strain equivalent to the maximum along the area of reduction of the beam flange width, and amount of stress in the area of joint of the beam to the column is reduced and the critical area of the joint is transferred from this place to the place of reduction of the width of the beam flange. Also, by increasing the reinforcement ratio or by increasing the length of the beam flange width reduction area in the TBF joint, the bearing capacity of the joint is increased, and is reduced the maximum amount of strain created at the beam joint to the column.

Risk management in urban projects is a complex task whose complexity depends on the size of the quantitative and qualitative dimensions of the urban project. Urban projects in the current market and business conditions are exposed to crisis at any time. The environment of urban projects is very variable and the conditions of uncertainty are many, and these conditions become more difficult for larger urban projects. Undoubtedly, proper management of these risks is a prerequisite for facilitating the crisis conditions of urban projects, and the need to access and expand the related sciences is quite obvious. This article examines the effect of variables such as age and occupation on risk-taking in urban project management, analyzes the relevant principles and challenges, and by conducting a study on the workforce in Shiraz Municipality, examines each Which of the independent variables of age and occupation dealt with risk-taking and its factors and finally led to the conclusion that none of the independent variables of gender, age, level of education and occupation had a statistically significant effect on risk-taking and its factors.

Companies increasingly support their project portfolio management processes with specific software, and the market for IT solutions is growing. While project portfolio management information systems (PPMIS) promise to improve the quality of the management process and eventually portfolio performance, it is unclear whether they actually deliver on this promise. We lack empirical evidence regarding the actual benefits of PPMIS and knowledge on the conditions under which PPMIS application is most beneficial. Using a sample of 181 project portfolios, this study shows for the first time that PPMIS application is overall positively associated with the quality of portfolio management processes and project portfolio success. However, moderation analyses further reveal that these effects only materialize when formalization of single project management, project portfolio management, and risk management are sufficiently high. Surprisingly, the benefits of PPMIS application do not depend on portfolio complexity (size, project interdependency, dynamics).

The use of new asphalts with the aim of increasing the life of the pavement and reducing the maintenance costs of the pavement is of great importance. Continuous investigation and evaluation of the causes of failure is a necessary thing that failure to pay attention to it will intensify the failure and transfer it to the underlying layers, which will lead to complete failure of the pavement and impose very high costs. Timely use of protective asphalt can improve the service level of pavement and increase its life, also increase wear and improve existing asphalt and concrete procedures and be used to make the road surface impermeable. Protective asphalt is usually used as a temporary coating in the road construction industry and is not one of the main components of the road body. This layer is mostly used to make the asphalt impermeable and to prevent erosion of the main layer. Using it can strengthen the main layer of asphalt which is on the road. Due to the types of protective asphalts, each of which has its own application and characteristics, they are spread on the road surface. These asphalts include chip seal, fog seal, seal coat, slur seal and micro-surfacing. Studies on fog seal protective asphalt have been collected and reviewed in recent years. The results show that the use of sand seal grout with epoxy emulsion shows resistance to skid and frustration, which its use for sealing and prevention at the pavement surface increases the resistance to skid. Fog seal can be effective in minimizing water absorption and air permeability, and such findings suggest that sealants using biomaterials can be a viable alternative to asphalt pavements. Adding oil (environmental-oil) reduces the need for asphalt adhesion and leads to energy savings. In general, the use of fog seal protects the pavement against cracking and erosion of asphalt, increasing the length of the pavement, delaying major repairs, reducing permeability due to sealing and damage due to moisture

Increasing development of development and implementation of development plans and construction projects in the country, unfortunately, we see that the statistics of accidents, accidents, occupational health and health in this sector is not in a good and favorable situation, and at the same time an increasing and worrying trend during Followed in recent years. Today, while in many industries, factories, and even in projects and development projects such as dam construction, the issue of health and the environment is pursued as a HSE category of structured safety and is used with the aim of preventive accident management with careful planning. We see that in construction workshops, the issue of safety is considered primarily and only on the basis of curative and passive management. In this study, the necessity of establishing HSE in construction workshops has been examined as an obstacle to safety, health and environmental management. Equals the speed and mentality of work, from an economic and HSE perspective, and contrary to popular belief that the productivity perspective shows that safety is primarily a help to managers in organizing work more efficiently and preventing accidents and diseases caused by Work and environmental problems and increasing productivity, taking into account the health and safety of workers, requires the establishment and use of health, safety and environmental management system and its institutionalization in workshops.

Construction cost management in construction projects is one of the most important management factors. Weak management can lead to detrimental costs to the project and its employers. In 5D BIM technology, by combining project cost information with a three-dimensional model based on BIM (Building Information Modeling), a more effective and accurate assessment of project costs over its lifetime can be achieved. But applying this method can bring many opportunities and challenges for project managers. This study will review the efficiency of this system in comparison with construction project management and control systems by reviewing the presented articles.
