The pumping station is a collection of pumps, driving forces and auxiliary equipment e.g., collector system, power supply system, and control and protection systems. Small pumping stations are usually designed in the simplest possible way for the ease of operation of auxiliary equipment. However, as the capacity of the pumping station increases, the technical complexity and design of peripheral equipment increases, which requires its own design according to the conditions, type of work, and location of the project. The choice of the type of station building, the type and capacity of the main and reserve pumps, in accordance with the special conditions of each project are contingent upon the nature of the plan. This study evaluates the basics of designing pumping stations, taking into account the above-mentioned issues, focusing on the system of pumping and transferring water from Dasht Zozen to the central site of the water supply facilities of Sangan Industries.Keywords: Pumping station, water transfer system, pump capacity

Today, transportation is a category that every person has a direct relationship with, and along with the growth and development of cities, the need for public services and facilities has also increased. On the other hand, due to the increase in population, the road transport network, as well as vehicles, which have caused serious transportation problems such as accidents, traffic and traffic violations, it is necessary for the government's investment policy to prioritize the use of solutions in order to reduce accidents and traffic violations. In this research, an attempt was made to investigate one of the speed management methods to reduce traffic violations and accidents in the main transit axes. In this research, the Zanjan-Khormadre transit axis and vice versa was investigated as the focus of the study for the effect of speed control cameras on the prevention of traffic violations and the reduction of road accidents, and SPSS software was used to analyze the data. To investigate the relationship between violations, accidents and speed control cameras, the significance of Pearson's correlation coefficient and linear regression was evaluated. Speed is in the mentioned axis, and also 73% of the reason for the reduction of traffic violations is the increase of speed control cameras, on the other hand, 88% of the number of accidents related to speed depends on the number of violations caused by speed. As a result, the existence of speed control cameras can be effective as one of the most important parts of speed management in all used programs.

The present study focuses on the binary logit model for predicting the probability of driver fatalities in road accidents. The study utilizes data from road traffic accidents in Canada. These data were collected by the highway police in 2019 and recorded in the National Collison Database (NCBD). The dependent variable in this model is the severity of accidents, which is a binary variable representing driver fatalities and injuries. The independent variables include vehicle types, vehicle age, days of the week, time intervals, same-direction and opposite-direction collisions, intersections, weather conditions, driver age, and gender. By analyzing the data and estimating the parameters, the model can predict up to 41% of the variations in the dependent variable. In the model validation stage, the data were divided into two parts, with 70% used for modeling and 30% for validation. McFadden's pseudo were used to evaluate the model's performance. The models were constructed using SPSS and Nlogit6.0 software. The results demonstrate that the model fits well with the data and has the capability to predict changes in accident severity. Consequently, the study indicates that variables such as road dryness, midnight time interval, and vehicle age contribute to an increase in driver fatalities, while variables such as light duty vehicles, school buses, and same-direction collisions contribute to a reduction in fatalities.
